Visiting the website

Some pages contain videos from YouTube. These are not loaded automatically. We first show an image that is on our own website. Only when you choose Load video does your browser connect to YouTube. From that moment on, YouTube can process data.
Who do we share data with?
We use a number of service providers for the operation of the website and our communication.
If you subscribe to the newsletter or updates, the data needed for this is processed by the party that handles our email communication.
For hosting and technical management, other parties may have access to technical data that is needed to make the website work.
For analysing the use of the website, we use Google Analytics. Google processes analytics data on our behalf. We have configured Google Analytics to limit the impact on your privacy as much as possible and do not use the data for advertising or cross-site profiling.
When you load a YouTube video yourself, your browser connects to YouTube. From that moment on, Google/YouTube can process data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
How long do we keep data?
User-level and event-level data in Google Analytics is retained for 2 months.
Data for the newsletter and updates is kept for as long as necessary for this communication or until you unsubscribe.
Technical data in server logs may be temporarily stored for security and technical management purposes.
